Honey Miller Music has been described as the sound of The Space Coast. An Americana Folk Pop Rock band from Cocoa Beach Florida.
Honey Miller began in 2010 as an outlet for the original songs that Dave Miller had and continues to write. Seth Chipman brings the flavor with violin. Dave & Seth have been playing together since 2008
Marvin Parish (guitar, vocals), Barry Canfield (drums, percussion, vocals), Anthony Darmana (percussion, mandolin, vocals) & Julie Klein (vocals, keyboards, bass) joined Honey Miller in 2016.
Marvin & Julie continue to create and contribute their songwriting skills and years of seasoned musicianship to help shape and orchestrate the new sound of Honey Miller.
Anna Lusk has since departed to manage the many duties of motherhood and pursue her dreams of creating and performing her original children's music.
Originally Honey Miller started as a solo acoustic act in 2007, Dave playing small stages around Cocoa Beach. Then Dave began (sometimes accidentally, sometimes with intent) to add musicians and pile up new material and more shows while literally giving away 15,000 Demo CD's of their song "Permanent Wave".
For years Honey Miller performed hundreds of shows throughout Central Florida. Honey Miller was nominated for Brevard Live Magazine's 2011 "Favorite Original Band", and were finalists for Brevard Live/Lou's Blues "2012 Original Music Series".
The prior band completed recording and releasing a live thematic recording in 2012.
Honey Miller opened for Sonny Landreth (2013) and Marcia Ball (2014) at Ponte Vedra Concert Hall in Jacksonville, Florida thanks to Tib Miller-Flying Saucer Productions. Honey Miller music has been used on multiple surf movies, documentaries and videos.
The current instrumentation includes- acoustic rhythm guitar, electric guitar, slide guitar, bass, drums, violin, percussion, multiple lead vocalists and 3 harmonizing singers.
